Understanding the Glycemic index and using it to design a customized diet.

Many ask for specialized diet that will help them to lose weight, so one small change one can make is to use the glycemic index to make healthy food choices for their eating habits. The index is a list of foods assigned a rating between 0 and 100. Preferably one would look over the entire food list and choose food with a rating of 55 or lower to begin making this change. Once the person does, then they will begin to lose the unwanted weight via exercise and healthy diet.
